Brilliant PR & Marketing Seeks Account Coordinator

Fast-paced, super-fun, and totally out-of-the-box, Brilliant PR & Marketing pushes the boundaries of product marketing every day, finding new ways to get our clients’ products in front of the people who need them. And we need your help!

We’re looking for an Account Coordinator with a passion for PR – a go-to girl or guy looking to make a difference and build their skills, whether that’s writing press releases, researching new media outlets and industry trends, building targeted media lists, or creating client coverage reports that showcase your team’s awesome results!

You’ll work within the framework of a super-supportive team who’s there to hear your ideas and help you run with them! And we’ll make sure you learn everything and anything about working with media and influencers, running social media channels and campaigns, and putting on events and trade show activations.

Although we are remote, team members are expected to be available and online during normal business hours.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Use Cision, Klear, Google, Twitter, Instagram, and more to build curated media and influencer target lists
  • Pitch, pitch, pitch! You’ll assist your team with pitching to media and influencers
  • Monitor client media, influencer, and social coverage and send “Hits As They Happen” emails in real time to alert the client of new coverage
  • Tracking and coordinating product requests, samples inventory, and client sample budgets
  • Generate monthly client reports via Coverage Book and manage real-time published coverage tracker in AirTable
  • Assist client and account team in creating an award strategy and drafting submissions
  • Improve your writing skills but drafting press materials and pitches
  • Beef up those management skills by leading your intern(s) to success

Requirements Include:

  • 1+ Years of experience in consumer products PR, preferably in an agency setting
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication, project management, and time management skills
  • SUPER organized style and the ability to focus working off-site
  • First-hand experience with social media channels and influencers including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube (preferred)
  • Experience working with influencers, both paid and earned (preferred)
  • Familiarity with Outlook, Cision, Google Docs, AirTable, video conferencing and Glip
  • Experience with Coverage Book, Meltwater/Klear, and video and photo editing software is a BIG plus
